Mighty Morphin Romulan Rangers

What is the deal with bad guys ship having some elaborate uberized transfomation to make it more menacing. Are the writers and effects supervisors lack confidence in their art that the have pull this piece of over the top hack drama out for every movie. It would have been nice hunk of junk Romulan starship with Borg enhancements. I think Bana can pull off the villian part without having this Mighty Morphin Nerada Starship back him up.

Don't mind the morphing spacecraft, but I demand that when it does so, it makes the sound effect from "Transformers". Or I'll boycott.

No there has been a couple of different shots with ship more opened up then others with it looking streamlined. I think the shoot was when it was shifting through time.

I don't belive the ship ''transforms'' so much as it has two 'possitions' like the Klingon b-o-p there's flight mode & attack mode.

I think that the ship doesn't transform so much as it is a mass of constantly moving shapes - I can't wait to see it in action, it might be really organic looking and cool.

Or, yeah, it might suck and get rammed by the enterprise. Shit happens in these movies.

We already know it gets rammed by the Kelvin:guffaw: This whole morphin villian ship started with Inserection and the Soo'na collector. Are the directors and producers not confident in the actors they hired to the job with their acting that need the over the top make the villians ship more hostile. I like my mecha but don't mix it with my Star Trek. To me they don't taste great together.

If Zordon's not involved, I'm walking out. Violate Star Trek canon? Go ahead. Mess with the Power Rangers, though, and you'll get kicked in your Z.

The Narada adapts as a Borg vessel does. My bet is that towards the end of the movie, the Narada needs to adapt significantly to counter the Enterprise. Just as we are led to believe that our heroes have saved the day, I bet it 'Assimilates' Nero in to itself (kind of making him a Borg drone/King), creating like a Neo-Nero! :D

Oh come on, this is the transformers writers we're talking about! It's got to happen!!!!!! :p
