That's right, folks, it's gonna be a Kate episode. Stick around for the fun. *places a remote out on the table* There's the clicker. No one'd blame you.
Kate: the biggest mystery on Lost! I don't really mind Kate but her episodes usually suck out loud In any event I think I'll be able to actually participate tonight for the first time in weeks. I keep saying that but I inevitably get Lost guests dropping by. Tonight I'm taking the phone off the hook and locking the fucking door
The good news: Tonight's is written by Lindelof and Cuse who pretty much always deliver standout episodes. The bad news: It's a Kate episode. I honestly can't call this one in advance.
^ Damon and Carlton really are the shit. Not surprisingly, they have relatively few Kate episodes between them. It breaks down like this: Damon: Tabula Rasa Whatever The Case May Be I Do (The best Kate ep yet, IMO) Left Behind Carlton: I Do (with Damon) Clearly Carlton's sporting the better record here, but still. I'm willing to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Well, I hated Whatever the Case May Be and didn't particularly like I Do so maybe I'm in for trouble.
"Whatever The Case May Be" was indeed bad. "I Do" had the benefit of Nathan Fillion and a reasonable Island story to help it along. The flashbacks (as usual) for a Kate episode weren't great but they were as good as they ever got. Also it wins for this: "Kate dammit, RUN!"
After a few minutes of recap and a few minutes of show I'm already in the Lost zone. Anxiously awaiting with raised blood pressure and giddy smile on my face.
