That's pretty cool.

I bought some fertilizer yesterday and fertilized the yard. Used a shade over 15,000 square feet of coverage.

This was "honey-do" project weekend. I finally got some curtains, from IKEA, to cover the shade in the bedroom window. Of course, hubby put the curtain up so that the hardware sticks out ABOVE the curtain() , so I'll have to get him to fix that.

We also picked up a new hose for the shower head from Home Depot and a curtain rod at Bed, Bath and Beyond.

THIS

Well, no. Not really. But if I had money to burn, I'd TOTALLY buy it. How freaking cool is that! :D

You could wear it while seeing patients. ;)

Yesterday I bought a washer. This was not a planned purchase - I went down to do a load of wash and there was a puddle of oil next to the machine. Since it was 30-35 years old I knew I was laundering on borrowed time anyway.

It's delivered on Friday. Here's hoping my underwear lasts until then!

I picked up a couple of books from the bargain section at work — The Spellman Files and Curse of the Spellmans by Lisa Lutz, and The Roots of Desire (a cultural study of red hair).

I also bought the 25th anniversary release of one of my favorite movies from childhood... Sesame Street Presents: Follow That Bird. Finally in widescreen!

Wow. That's even more shit than I have to deal with at work.

I got a cheeseburger and fries from McDonald's. Best dammed junk food I've had in years. :bolian:

Sometimes it DOES just hit the spot.

I bet big money that whoever actually buys it will use it in a very camp YMCA-inspired skit.

It had a good life. :)

I'm waiting for mine to pack up. I'm pretty sure a bearing is gone somewhere, based on the noise emanating from it at times. It still soldiers on for now, however.

Caribbean mix dried fruit from Holland and Barrett. Not sure that the bag will last the day.

This is precisely why I avoid buying bags of dried fruit, nuts, bombay mix, etc, etc, etc.

I'm the same way. Cashew Royal, Pecan Imperial, Tropical Mix. You eat the bag and think, "What a satisfying little snack!" until you look at the nutrition info and see that there were four 180 calorie servings in that bag.

^Yum! I just had a taco from the Mexican restaurant across the street. It was pretty darn good. However, 1 small chicken taco does not a satisfying dinner make, so I ruined my week of perfect dieting with a piece of homemade frybread -- damn Native mother and her traditional Indian comfort food!

Today I bought a new pair of sheets because somehow a hole got into my favorite set.

** looks down at puppy who looks back up with innocent expression **

Yeah, whatever. Anyway, the sales rep, a co-worker and I threw grabbed a bunch of varying thread counts, etc then while I hid they mixed them all up then I came back with my eyes covered and felt them all up. I know it sounds strange but it was a fun way to buy sheets.

I ended up with the Hotel brand 500 count. I was considering the 800 but the 500 won in the blind test. I was pretty surprised by that.
