New Buck Rogers comic

Has anyone seen the pre-release cover? I don't think a lot of people collect comic books anymore, but I was wondering what longtime fans think of the design? Seems like a cross between modern sensibilities with the original old fashioned time period and concept. I do like that they appear to be using an "anti-gravity" pack instead of a rocket pack.

 covers!

How many pages an issue?

This Buck Rodgers starts with issue 0 I noticed ^.

Is this Buck Rodgers DC, Marvel, Dark Horse or Other?

The covers look cool, but let's see how the INSIDES look.

True, I have a problem with a lot of indie comic books because the interior art rarely matches the covers.

I see the 'D' in Buck Rodgers a lot and always wonder where that mistake comes from. Is it because of Duck Dodgers or is it just a misspelling because people rarely misspell the first name Roger.

Well, there was Rodger Young, if you're a Starship Troopers fan.

The cover says June is there a May pre-release run happening?,because I would like to collect this issue as soon it comes out.

I normally stay with marvel re:Iron Man,but what the hey if the writing is just as good as the cover and inside art then I'm sure it will be a hit.I'll ask Bob Greenberger on Face Book if he knows the exact details since he's the comic book guru at Shore Leave.

Signed

Buck Rogers

You don't know when your own comic is coming out?

:)I was less interested in the actual comic than what people thought of the iconic re-design.

I dont like it. He looks nothing like Gil Gerrard. If they are going to base a comic on him, they should at least get his face right ;)

Actually i quite like the pseudo-retro design. Its definately a look that will stand out in Comic stores anyway.

I don't see any disco balls either...

I did like the design of Buck's, etc. outfits-very cool. I thought the 0 issue was interesting, but it took me a moment to wrap my head around some of the supporting cast. It also left more questions than I thought it would. It seemed like that was more of the point than providing some backstory or a traditional introduction to the character.
