Pine and Quinto talking about Epilepsy

Personally thought the chemistry was quite good. I thought it seemed quite reminiscent of the original actors. Pine seemed pretty cocky, and Quinto somewhat aloof and superior. Of course I could be projecting my thoughts onto their actions...:wtf:

I like them together in any event.
:techman:

I thought it was good good. Light hearted and quirky. Nuthin wrong with that especially with such a serous topic. I don't think there going for the Oscar on this one.

What's strange is that Shatner fancied himself the star of the show and Nimoy as second fiddle, while Quinto might feel that he is the big name and Pine is the noob.

But that might just be projection on my part--I so want this movie to be a financial success. Critical success would be a bonus, but without an audience, what is critical acclaim?

^^ To me, it's actually better rewatching it. It's just stilted, although intended to be funny.

I think they were going for something like that -- dorky but cute. I'm just not sure it's going to work. then again, I'm thinking back to those dorky studio shots of Shatner and Nimoy with those ray guns...

hmm. could work.

I thought their chemistry was brilliant especially when Pine started saying Quintos line regardless and Quinto is there just pointing at him in supposed disbelief.

They looked like they were having fun with it, but you also got that the subject was serious. All in all, pretty good for being contained in the space of ten or fifteen seconds, I thought.
