The National Park Service would never allow urban development on either side of the bridge!!!

They always get the geography wrong...

That's fantastic. Odd thought: what would have happened if this had been the first glimpse we'd gotten of the new Enterprise? Would have been fun trying to puzzle out what the hell we're looking at.

I think we all would have been arguing over the shape of the secondary hull.

"It looks like the undercut on the secondary hull is much larger than it used to be"

"The ship looks....squashed?"

"What's with how flat the hull is?"

"Keep in mind the ship has been intentionally distorted to look 'fast.' I can guarantee you they didn't do anything dramatic to the shape of the hull."

"Did anyone see the pylons seem to be curved now?"

"I just noticed: it looks like the engineering section has a much bigger undercut now."

Etc, etc, etc.

The only problem I have with the posters is that they show both major and minor characters from the film and omit Dr. McCoy!!!!! I hope they don't down play 'Bones' role in the film, but then again I am not expecting much from JJ Abrams based on his previous film disasters.
