That way you'll miss the hilarious bloopers.I piss before I leave, get to the theatre, grab a popcorn and coke and enjoy the movie. Then run like hell as the credits roll.....
I get into the theater and find my seats. Then, right before the film starts, I go hit the ladies room. Also, I do not drink much soda during the first half of any movie I attend. At the about the halfway mark, I allow myself to start drinking soda.
I always go to the restroom again after the movie is over.
But damn those movies like LOTR.
By the time that last LOTR movie was over, I was actually quite annoyed with them. It seemed like it was ending about 5 times before it actually did, and I REALLY had to pee.
But even if it had ended at the FIRST 'false start' ending, the damn thing would have been too frakkin' long. If you can't tell a story in less than 2 1/2 hours, it needs editing. End of discussion.

One time, ages ago, a buddy of mine pissed in two beer bottles (we smuggled in some beers to Dumb and Dumber) because he didn't want to miss any of the movie. We were in the back row and passed them all down to the guy sitting at the end by the wall when we were finished drinking them, so he had a nice stash of empties going on there. At the end of the movie though, I guess he was a bit tipsy and ended up knocking over all of them and they went CLANG CLANG CLANG CLANG (except for the two my buddy pissed in, lol) on the sloped concrete floor all the way down to the front. We ran like hell and never looked back.

I usually go when the Protagonist and his Girlfriend character start having one of those heartfelt get togethers, where they talk and such, because by then I have to piss like a banshee and I know that they are just going to get together and do the nasty dance anyway. I usually will make it back in time for that, and I get to miss all the cliche mushy lead-up.
I never deliberately leave the room during the nasty dance.
I finish everything before the movie starts!
Well, I usually get the Gargantusized soda, and the humungoid popcorn. Most times I finish my soda AND my wife's. I NEVER leave for the restroom. NEVER!

I always go to the movies with Captain Robau. If my bladder rebels, it instantly bursts into flame, so it knows not to make me need to go.
I've never understood why people absolutely HAD to go in the middle of a movie.
I guess my bladder is just different than other peoples.
Ive always been able to hold it just fine throughout a movie no problem without being bothered, and I dont even make an effort to go beforehand. And I drink a lot of water in general, too.
Odd. Perhaps it was because when I was very little I was afraid to use the restrooms at school, so I got good at holding it all day. Oh well. Works well for me. I would hate to have to leave during a movie.
