Ezri/Jake

I was surprised a week or so ago to learn that Ezri's only about a year older than Jake. Perhaps the suggestion of such a relationship isn't so far fetched as it seems.

It would have added more interesting conflict (involving Sisko at least) than anything that resorted from Ezri hooking up with Bashir. One of a handful of blown opotunities in the final two seasons.

I would have much rather seen Jake/Ezri or Ezri/Quark than the Bashir romance. I just always saw it as Bashir kind of just taking the next best thing since Jadzia was gone. I would have rather seen Bashir eventually end up with Sabrina, once Sabrina had gotten her s--t together.
