• This contest is centered on the Season 6 episode Good Shepherd. Janeway takes three failing crewmen on an away mission to try and improve their performance, and her relationship with them.
• The VOY theme as chosen by Akiraprise will be Background Characters. Let's put some of the background crew members on Voyager in the spotlight for a change.
• The random theme as chosen by es! will be Emotions.

The Rules: Avs not to exceed 140x140 px and not be over 70kb in file size. Avs can be static pictures or animated, just don't go over the restrictions posted previously. One av entry per category. The theme must be Voyager related while the random is just that, random from anything. The contest runs on a bi-weekly schedule so entries will be accepted until March 23, 2009 sometime in the evening.

You know, as a teenager, when I took art lessons, I learned the saying, "a picture is better than a thousand words". I adhere to that, and I believe that if my picture/avatar needs a caption, it means it has failed as a picture.

Still, I like to caption for fun. I like the one in your avatar. I'm a professional subtitler, after all!
I captioned a whole spoof prevention of aids campaign with Richard Armitage pictures from Robin Hood and Spooks for my sister who is a RA fan and works in the prevention of aids. (That way she can put his pictures on her computer at work )

Since this avatar is from the movie Generations, after Geordi set up Data with the emotion chip, and he finally gets the joke he heard at Farpoint, in the pilot, 7 years before - and can't stop laughing. Maybe it needed a little reminder.
