Two more Hugo nominations for "Who"

For the fourth year running Steven Moffat gets a nod, for "Silence in the Library"/"Forest of the Dead." And RTD earns a second nomination, for "Turn Left."

The competition is the BSG episode "Revelations," the Lost episode "The Constant," and Joss Whedon's Internet project Doctor Horrible's Sing-Along Blog.

No surprise that the Moff gets another nod, but I would have thought "Midnight" would appeal to Hugo voters more than "Turn Left." Either way, nice to see Who continue to get multiple nominations.

Midnight was a class above Turn Left. One of the best Who episodes ever. Can't believe I'd ever say that about an RTD script.
 
Personally I'd rate Midnight above all three of those episodes. The Library 2 parter wasn't quite up to Moffat's high standards for me (though still good) and Turn Left was the kind of story most sci-fi shows do eventually, and even the execution was nothing special (IMO) Midnight on the other hand is tightly written and original (Just showing what RTD is capable of when he doesn't get carried away)
 
I liked Midnight a lot more than Turn Left. Parts of TL felt like a clip show.

Out of these choices I'd have to root for "The Constant" though.
 
I can't go with DW this time around - none of these nominated episodes are up to the standards of the previous years. I think I'll be supporting BSG or Whedon.
 
Please without spoilers as I'm not sure how far ahead of the UK the US is (not much but why take the chance) can someone tell me which eps of Lost and BSG these were?

"Revelations" is the mid-season cliffhanger for BSG, where it is revealed who is the final cylon. There is also something else that happens but it is far too big of a spoiler if you haven't seen the episode or the other half of season four, and far too big to discuss in general terms.

"The Constant" is where Desmond and Faraday meet for the first time from the latter's perspective.

"Revelations" was the mid-season cliffhanger, where the second thing you're talking about happens, but the final cylon was revealed in "Sometimes a Great Notion."

I don't watch Lost and I've not yet seen Dr. Horrible, but my favorite of the rest is probably "Turn Left." Moffat's two parter was very good but not the best Doctor Who this season. Actually, neither was "Turn Left" (I'd give "Midnight" the nod) but I liked it more than the library two-parter.
 
Personally, I'd give it to Dr. Horrible's Sing-A-Long Blog.

Of Who, though, I'd give it to "Turn Left," if only for that single scene where Donna's mother, just staring blankly at the camera, admits to her daughter, seemingly apathetically, that Donna has always been a disappointment to her. It's just such a sad, brutally honest, beautifully written and acted scene, that it elevates "Turn Left" above the rest of the season.
 
I've not seen Revelations unfortunately, but from what I have seen I'd go with the Constant. I wasn't keen on Turn Left and although I liked Silence in the Library, it wasn;'t as strong as previous Moffat work and isn't as good as the Lost ep.

I've seen Dr Horrible but I don't see it winning out over the others.
