Ugh! Stop dropping, LOST! At least it go the best demo for the night outside of AmIdol, that's pretty good. Too bad Scrubs and Ted didn't score higher... love Scrubs and Ted was interesting. I guess Ted is in the cancellation range now?

There's no need to worry about Lost. The demo is still healthy, there's just one more season to go anyway, and it's one of the most popular shows worldwide so it's rakin' in the cash regardless of domestic ratings. And it's critically acclaimed to boot.

We should save our show-saving energies for more needy recipients. I recommend Chuck and Reaper. :(

The last time the overtnights had LOST under 10 million, the finals put the show back over the 10 million range but I think this time the once powerful hit is going to air an episode under double digits. However no need to panic because its still getting big ratings in viewers and demo plus only one more season left and it will air.

* LOST is also one of the biggest shows worldwide

* Largest TIVO/DVR time shifted show in the USA - a few million of them.

Plus ABC already cancelled 80% of their scripted show, and almost EVERY scripted show from the last 2-3 years, so they need to keep something.

I know that LOST Season Six is a signed deal and will happen no matter how low the ratings get. There was an article about it a few weeks back, the contracts have already been paid and everything.

Some good news here...

CBS Entertainment and Warner Bros. Television have reached a multi-year broadcast agreement for the hit comedy series "Two and a Half Men" and "The Big Bang Theory," it was announced by Nina Tassler, President, CBS Entertainment, and Peter Roth, President, Warner Bros. Television.

The agreement renews "Two and a Half Men" through the 2011-2012 season "The Big Bang Theory" through 2010-2011.

What about Mother? Is that from a different production company or something?

I think 20th century FOX may be behind the show am not totally sure and I just read this
The production of any fifth season has been complicated by the pregnancies of actresses Cobie Smulders (Robin) and Alyson Hannigan (Lily). It appears the show will be unable to film until summer as both actresses are expecting in the spring.
so that might make CBS delay the 5th season call until they can get the schedule right...

However no worries, HIYM will be back for a 5th season to pass the 100 episode mark.

I agree. Reaper is a fantastic show of dark comedy.
