I wanna go to a baseball game!

We've been having some off and on spring weather the last few weeks, and that means it's soon gonna be time for summer activities. I am definitely craving a trip to Wrigley Field for a baseball game. I hope I get to go to one at least by the end of April.

Anybody else got some spring/summer activities they're really looking forward to?

As long as we're talking basbeball, I'm going to the all new Citi Field in April to see the Mets. I'd love to see the new Yankee Stadium too.

I've got a 10 day roadtrip across Alaska and the Yukon planned for June that I absouultely can not wait for. We've been planning it for months.

Sticking to the baseball theme, I was thinking about possibly heading out to the Dodgers' and White Sox's new Camelback Ranch spring training facility in Glendale, Arizona. It's nice to have spring training for the Dodgers relatively nearby instead of way over in Florida. It's a beautiful facility, and from everything I've read it's supposed to be a great experience for fans. The grass area in the outfield is ten bucks to be near the fence and bullpen, and you can spread out a blanket and have a picnic while watching the game.

My sister lives up in Vegas, so I'll get her to meet us there. She's an Angels fan, but I think I can get her to go turncoat and root for the Dodgers.

The only travesty is that they don't have Dodger Dogs. That's just not right.

I usually see a handful of college baseball games each year. The school I attend, Tulane, usually fields a pretty good team. I haven't been to a pro baseball game in quite some time. It's been 11 years since I lived close to one.

In April there is the French Quarter Festival and then the huge New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival a couple weeks later, which is my favorite time of year.

I'm going to both of those places this May (and again in August with my parents). I bloody well can't wait. Those new ballparks look sweeeeeeeeeeeeet.

There are other parks that I'd love to see as well. The L.A. ones (both Dodger and Angel Stadiums), Wrigley, next year's Target Field (new Twins park), AT&T Park (San Francisco), Safeco Field (Seattle), and PETCO Park (San Diego) are high on my list.

I am looking forward to seeing an A's game sometime soon. I don't think A's is supposed to have an apostrophe, but it looked weird without one.

I am also looking forward to the State Fair, though that's several months away. Any county fairs in the area as well. I enjoy seeing the animals and the silly booths.

Once the weather gets a little nicer I'll probably take in my usual four or five Portland Beaver (PCL Triple A) games again this year. There's just something right about minor league ball played in a nice small facility.

I get a lot of Red Sox tickets every year, so am looking forward to taking in a few games. The rest generally get used to pay for the games I go to, and my "fun" money for the year :)

I can't wait for the Great New York State Fair.
I also can't wait to go to a Chiefs game.
The Chiefs are Syracuse's AAA Minor League team (farm team for the Washington Nationals), and generally every friday after a game they do fireworks which is always fun :D

Spring means: omgwtf BBQ!!! omgwtf STEAMEDCRABS!!! omgwtf SAILING!!!

Also, various street festivals and flea markets and the farmers' market and the film festival and outdoor movie screenings. Everything starts the first weekend of May and I'm really quite ready for that to hurry up and get here already.

Couldn't care less about baseball, but I imagine I'll be dragged to Camden Yards a few times over the summer as always. Thank god for the bar.

Baseball sounds great! The Phillies are coming to Toronto this year towards the end of June and I plan on getting to at least two the three games in the series. Hopefully the weather will be nice and the dome will be open. It can't get here soon enough for my liking.

I just got tickets to the Giants vs. A's exhibition preseason game in April at AT&T Park. I'm going with my friend who is a huge A's fan, and we'll both be decked out in our respective team's colors. Should be interesting. :)

My friends normally have tickets [for several games] by now. I just need to make sure I am able to request off work in time to go to a game. My friends are slacking this year. One of them actually lives in downtown Chicago, so we usually leave it up to him. I might have to yell at him.

I want bleacher seats! I've never been in the bleachers at Wrigley before. I hear they're awesomely drunk.

I'm going to see the Yanks IN the new stadium April 22nd. Seats along the third base line. I am also going to see them in Baltimore on May 9th, behind home plate!

When I get back to Michigan I should head down to Comerica Park and watch the Tigers lose.

Last time I saw them play I was 10 and they still played at Tiger Stadium.

I already got my Red Sox @ Phillies tickets for the June 13th game, and then I also got tickets for the Braves @ Red Sox game a few weeks later. I also hope to catch them in Baltimore a few times this year as well. Camden Yards is such a nice place. I can't wait to watch the Sox grab another AL East title!:techman:

I'm not a bleacher guy. I like a back to my chair, and that's where it seems like the most abject drunken degenerates sit.

My wife can get $5 field level Red Sox tickets because she works at the hospital where the team goes. I loathe the Sox but its always fun to go to a ballgame.

I may go to Minnesota later this year and would dig seeing a Twins game. I was driving through there a few years back and planned to see a game since I knew they were home, only to pull up and find out it was day game that day (getaway day) and was too late.
