on amazon, yes it's been an SCE kick. i was drunk a week ago and ended up buying books 3-8 of the series. foundations just came in from spokane washington, and to my surprise, guess what i found on the inner cover.....

There are a couple of others: #44, Where Time Stands Still, which was collected in the Creative Couplings omnibus, and #64, Distant Early Warning, which will eventually be collected (I hope) in a future omnibus.

Also, the crew of the Lovell feature in the Vanguard storyline.

Bwahuh? Amazon is sending out signed books? When did they start doing that? Or was this just a completely random one-time-ever happenstance?

^ I'm guessing he bought it used from an Amazon merchant, and the copy the bookseller had was one we autographed for someone somewhere.

I have my agents hunting down the former bookowner now, after which he'll be waterboarded until he confesses.

for the record, this was a brand new book that had not been read.....or the previous owner read so quick as to avoid any damaged done to the pages and outer cover.

tim could be talented that way....or a user

Well, it couldn't have been "brand new" because they don't come from Amazon or some the bookstore or the publisher already containing personalized autographs. My guess it was never read, and "Tim" simply sold it to whichever store sold it to you.
