7?!?!?!?!?! WTF

I'm so disappointed in myself...

But really, this was a UK survey, and trends there don't translate to trends here... I mean honestly, THE WHITE SUIT for summer? That's BEEN DONE in the states. Shieeet, my white blazer is just collecting dust and wrinkles in my closet right now!

crap stix to this, I say!
Then you've got a couple years to get the dust off before the European trends get to North America. :)

With replies like this, welcome girlfriend:techman:

And re previous post at least you know what you'd like them to wear;)

I started the test, then my eyes glazed over. I buy what I like, I wear what I like. I do have to say that I'm really into neckties, though, and pay close attention to what's being worn.

Other than that, a nice pair of khakis and a polo shirt are always fine. I did relent and buy a three-button suit when they were in style, but I kind of had to, I needed a new suit, and it was about all I could find. Can't say I like it. I wish double-breasted suits would come back (not just because I have three in my closet now). I really liked the cut of men's suits from the 1940s, too. And, I never button the bottom button.

Back.

Started a couple of years ago on the runway. Last year in higher end designers. This year will drift down to mid-tier I think.

Ok, I tried doing it and I could only get to question 5 before I got frustrated. I'm tremendously sartorial but fashion is what you make it. Questions like "ooooh what is the "in" coat for 2009?!" are bullshit.

The whole reason the slimmer look of the 50s and 60s is coming back is because a bunch of folks had the guts to wear the stuff while we still had the 80s baggy hangover.

You have to be conscious of trends and mold them to suit your look but it's not about a specific piece of attire. It's about the general ensemble. A trench coat in 2009 isn't going to suit everyone or even a majority of men.
