Charlotte's Web (2006) Parent's Guide on IMDB - Unbelievable!

The Stan Boardman thing ? Nothing particularly wrong with the joke, it's just that quite a few people complained because it was shown before the 9pm watershed. If ITV had waited an hour nobody would have said a thing.

There is a shot where a Templeton is walking behind a cow and the cow farts. During the shot, the cow's vulva is easily seen.

I always thought it was pronounced mulva :wtf:

A little off topic but this kind of parental advisory kind of reminds me of how the CGI Aslan from the Chronicles of Narnia was done. I found it almost more distracting that a full grown lion had no ball sack than if he had had one. Is that weird?

It's the Jesus Lion. You can't show Christ's nutsack (even in lion form) unless it's in a Scorsese film.

How the hell do you get a Liam Neeson or James Earl Jones voice without a giant pair of nuts though? I mean, Simba I can understand, but Mufasa should have been dragging some bowling balls behind him.

Somewhere deep inside me I know from now on that whenever I watched an animated film with animals I'm going to be very aware of that in future... and probably raise an issue with it during the film.

What about that animated movie from a few years back that had cows with male voices? You know, the one that made Trekker so incensed?

That has to be confusing.

So, there's a warning about the cow's vulva, but nothing about how all those cows are going around with their tits showing? For shame!

this reminds me of one of George Carlin's specials, in the hBO content thing before it, it mentions that it has a rape scene in it, now this was while he was still a bit mellow, so i watched looking for "it"...he walks into a door marked as a girls restroom

^What can I say, I was hoping for realism.

I know exactly what you mean. They put together an extremely realistic digital model for Aslan in every other respect, even down to saliva and papillae on the tongue, then totally whitewash the area between his legs so he looks like a stuffed animal. (And I'm pretty sure they made his pelvis far too wide as well, which made him look like an overstuffed couch from the back.)

OT, I'm far more disgusted by the idea of a cow farting at a character than accidentally seeing some fleshy bits. Blech.

:rommie: Hey, Fokker is just a funny word....
Hence "Meet the Fockers" and the upcoming "Meet the Little Fockers".

They'll be a grandmother the kids call mother Focker. They'll say, "Hello, mother Focker," to her. Looking through a family album, someone will point to a picture and ask, "Who's that, mother Focker?" Or, the house will catch fire and someone will yell, "Get out of here, mother Focker!" I could go on all day -- . ;)
