Klingons

Here they are, with their ridiculous S&M masks that could've come out of a TNG episode.

That scene might be a flashback of Nero's Klingon imprisonment in the post-Nemesis TNG era. Rumor (possible spoilers) has it Nero spent time in a Klingon prison before going on his time-travel rampage.

^For those of us reading the 'prequal' series, I have a felling We'll find out by COUNTDOWN#4 if this scene is indeed a ''flashback'' or not.:vulcan:

Not to mention I have heard that when Nero attacks Vulcan he arrives out of his time vortex thing.

You know with those leather coats the Klingons look like something out of an WW2 or Cold War thriller. It's certainly an interesting look:rommie:

Maybe these are what Klingon prison guards or even executioners dress like. We've never seen Klingons guard prisoners save for a few scattered times over the years starting with "Errand of Mercy" in 1967. And they tend to dress differently depending where the jail cell is located. During military occupations on other worlds and ships the guards seem to be in regular soldier's/warrior's garb and armor, while on penal asteroids like Rura Penthe the dress is more casual and insulated to reflect the harsh environment. Maybe this is what guards on Qo'noS or another of the central planets in the empire look like? Or perhaps its just a ceremonial throwback in terms of fashion?

Hey! I just noticed that the gaurd on the right hand side seams to have ''WHACKED'' Nero upside the head with a Billyclub!:D

Am I the only one looking forward to seeing the new Klingon ships with the anticipation of a 6 year old being shown a chocolate bar?
