I think people are pumping this movie up to stratospheric expectations... then many of you will find holes in it everywhere and slam it to pieces afterward.

Be patient... the trailer looks great, but it's JUST A TRAILER. Who knows if it will be representative of the whole deal. We've got a couple months to go--it'll be here before you know it. So, don't keep predicting that it'll be awesome. Give it some space and let's keep reasonable expectations, m'Kay?

I really hope it's not like Transformers. The trailers were super awesome, watched them many times, but the movie was crap. There is however hope, STXI's director is not Michael Bay :P.

No. I won't find holes in it an slam it.

I happen to watch Star Trek to enjoy it, I have no doubt this is
going to be the most epic movie experience since The Dark Knight.

It wasn't clever or witty the first time. You could simply have let it lie, instead of holding up a weak and all-too-predictable jab at the stereotypical Trekkie, for everyone to see again.

It is clearly too awesome. In a few years when they come out with Star Trek XI Part 2, it clearly won't be able to live up to the standards set by the original Star Trek XI.
