If the women you're dating don't want that, then clearly you need to date more intelligent, more mature, women.

I tend to see partners as friends, and treat them as such. Though obviously they get more than usual friendly banter I find treating anyone too well (like a Goddess, really) is a little patronising.

I always find it strange though that woman are more interested in the wrestler me who's obnoxious, arrogant and rude compared to the 'real' me. I never understand it. But at least they get a nice surprise.

An Equal, of course. I am not a Queen or a Goddess, and don't want to be treated like one. I don't want my lover to be my servant, I want him to be my friend and companion. And I expect him to feel the same way about me.

This makes a lot of sense, except for one part - you are still awesome and if you don't like that then that's just one of your flaws that I will have to accept.

First I just wish to observe that this is yet another thread aimed towards women that is starting to have a troubling amount of men in it...

Secondly, I always treat women like equals. I do kinda tend to put women on mental pedestals without thinking about it though, but the consious thought is to treat them like equals.

I treat my girlfriend as equals. I don't always hold the door open or carry things for her. She'd give me a dirty look if I did
