Casting Call... Leslie Crusher

If I was going to go with a red-head then I would go with Bryce Dallas Howard. Of course I don't know how old she was during Season 1 of TNG.

I remember a friend telling me McFadden hinted at a con that she would have liked it if Beverly would have had a daughter as well as Wes?

I think it would have been great and they was a Shuttlecraft full of Teen stars back in the late 80s any well known actress would have taken the
popular female title from Marina, Gates and Denise???:scream:

I don't think we're going to see any relevant daughters anytime soon.

:(

I agree I think the Female Q was the closest Crusher came to having a Daughter during the series. She cared for the Doctor and too bad she didnt show up in another epsiode?

They could have wrote her pregnancy into the show during THE HOST but TPTB decided against it. trying to cover her belly with her lab coat!!!

When they originally wrote Leslie for the series bible, was she basically just Wesley with two X chromosomes, or would her character have been substantially different? If it's the former, then they definitely should have kept the geek vibe going.

I think Danica McKellar (Winnie on The Wonder Years, and a gifted mathematician and author, to boot!) would have fit the bill nicely. She would have been a couple of years younger than Wil, but still in that same age range so you could have all kinds of growing up experiences.

Nice call. Danica I believe could have made a nice addition to TNG family!

Now that is a great idea! I would have loved to see that. She was very good on The Wonder Years.
