Marvel superhero films are horribly titled. Names are uninspired.

Aquehonga

Fleet Captain
X-MEN should've been called

The Uncanny X-Men:bolian:

SPIDER-MAN should've been called
The Amazing Spider-Man:techman:

SPIDER-MAN 2 should've been called
The Spectacular Spider-Man:cool:

Web of Spiderman:beer:

^, or whatever the title of Spidey's 3rd comic book series is:)

Y'all Marvel aficionados get my drift anyway yes?

The Fantastic Four was properly titled..............BUT........................

Fantastic 4 {& it's sequel} sucks dead bunnies through a broken & busted straw!

YOUR thoughts on this>

I heard they were originally going to call Spider-Man 2 "The Amazing Spider-Man," but I guess they decided people wouldn't be smart enough to figure out that it was a sequel to the first one.

From what I understand, Raimi was all for it but the studio was against it.

Meanwhile, the fourth film in the series that started with The Fast and the Furious is inexplicably called Fast and Furious.

The mind boggles.

To quote The Russian from The Punisher:

"Ah! Is Amazing Spider-Man! Or is Spectacular Spider-Man?"

(beats up Paker)

"Is neither amazing nor spectacular."

X-Men Origins: Wolverine and The First Avenger: Captain America are two of the dumbest titles ever. That along with the X2 cover art which calls it X2: X-Men United, you have a trifecta of stupidity.

I guess the studio behind A Twilight Saga: New Moon hopes to follow in their footsteps.

To be fair, everyone is trying to forget the last few movies in that series.

Oh no, the movie is titled poorly! Seeing as that directly impacts the quality of the movie, I can see your point.

No it should be To Farvest too Fouriest! (if you know of Frank Caliendo his Madden impression "We should just change all the fours to Farve. Valentine's is on Feb Farvetenth! In golf instead of Fore you shout FARVE!")

Okay so you can tell I'm a Wisconsinite Cheesehead...

Yeah Iron Man should have been 'The Invincible Iron Man" - although that'd be sweet to see for the second movie, especially since Fraction is writing it.

At least the new Hulk was "The Incredible Hulk!"

Who wrote that nonsense ? :wtf:

Ennis who else?

My favorite part was latter when Frank uses Parkers limp body as a shield and knocks The Russian - who has now grown gigantic boobs as part of the process that brought him back to life - off the top of the building they were on. Parker latter wakes up:

"My head hurts. What happened?"
"We had a team up. You were great."

It should have been called "I'm sorry we found the money to finance this piece of shit".

I never understood the titling of the Rambo movies. "Rambo III"??? There was no "Rambo II", it was "First Blood Part II"!

Although since the fourth movie was just called "Rambo", if they do another one, technically it should be "Rambo II". Of course, that means "Rambo III" would be... now my head hurts.

Can we explain this using time travel?
