^ Is that design adapted from the RDA/De Lancie steampunk-ish series Legend? It looks familiar.
I had been following Enterprise, but from about mid-Season 3 on I found myself living in a place without a working television and so caught only bits and pieces of the rest. I'll have to rectify that.

And I'm not too sure who should be flattered. Cetainly not me because it actually wasn't my idea as I've never seen X files in my life.
I did that for someone I know vauguely who requested it in a an email a while ago.But to be fair...seeing yours did indeed remind me that I did it and could be put up on my manips page. So...You and my friend think alike (y'know what hey say about great ones) and your work inspired me to post mine on my page.
I wanted to do a TOS version of the "Needs more Shatner" and thinking of the style of the "Priceline Negotiator" spots, I went looking for a sunburst background.

and recolored it. The rest of it just kinda developed from there regarding design, but I'm glad it went in that direction as it's got an old campy feel I think is cool.

While doing some CounterIntel research, I found this on a German website which did an article on the Zhang Heng:

Few DS9 fans know that Chester the Cat, who was added to the recurring cast during season six, was originally intended to first appear during the Occupation arc. Chester would have played Gul Dukat's cat, who would regularly be seen draped over the desk in Ops or curled up in his master's lap to give him that touch of Bond villain that it was felt was lacking in Dukat.
"Ooji cooji coo! Ooji cooji coo!"
It was also planned that Weyoun would discover he has an allergy to cats, but with so much else going on the character was dropped from the arc.
Chester appeared in Honor Among Thieves and Time's Orphan later in the season, and so impressed the producers that he was considered as a possible replacement for the outgoing Terry Farrell. In the original script for the season six finale, 'Tears of the Prophets', Chester was one of the major players in the story, and he would have been present during the scene where Sisko mourns the death of Jadzia.
"What am I going to do, Chester?"
"No idea, Ben, sorry. I'm just a cat."
Sisko would then leave for Earth, leaving Chester in command of DS9 until his return.
"That's who Captain Sisko left in charge?"
"Yep. I'm so going to kill him when he gets back."
