On the subject of kids TV, gone were the days where we could sing along to the theme tunes (the likes of Andy Crane even "sung" along too) or count down with the on-screen clock until the next Programme for Schools was about to start.

I remember sitting in class and we used to watch the count down clock for schools on ch4 that we would sit and hum to.
I think it was for a show called stop look and listen that we used to click our tongue to the when the theme tune came on.

I was not born till 82 so do not remember those.
I remember the older ones too, some of the music was quite jolly. The ITV Schools ones were the best.
