What kind of ridiculous cross over would work?

what nutty cross over might work?

I voted for CSI/Desperate Housewives but what I would like to see is Locutus (Pecard Borg) try to invade earth and stumble into the middle of Alien vs. Preditor.

I started to change my mind and go with Earth: Final Conflict meets Star Geat the Movie, then I realized that we already got that in SGA.

I would pay good money for an X-Files/Men in Black crossover.

I do remember once reading a TNG/Aliens crossover fanfic. Turns out the earlier encounters were just an 'unfortunate misunderstanding'. The Enterprise was assigned to carry an Alien queen and her entourage to Earth to become Federation members. Wish I could remember where I saw it. It wasn't half bad.

Fleeing Victorian England and an invasion by strange war-machines from the planet Mars aboard the doomed luxury liner Titanic, young Kansas farm-girl Dorothy Riply (Sigourney Weaver) is carried by a Storm of the Century to a planet inhabited by intelligent, speaking Apes. There, she joins forces with a Werewolf (Lon Chaney Jr), a golden protocal droid (Anthony Daniels) and a Raggedy Man (Mel Gibson as "Mad" Max Rockatansky) in seeking the help of attorney Atticus Finch in defending herself after falsely being accused of crimes commited by another (Robert Mitchum as Max Cady). Dr. Zaius (Maurice Evans) meanwhile, discovers he is the father of a beautiful human witch after being transformed into a man by his practical-joke loving warlock brother-in-law (Paul Lynde). After escaping Luft Stalag 13 and months of involuntary confinement in a mental institution with new friend Lisa Rowe (Angelina Jolie), Riply battles genetically engineered dinosaurs hell-bent on oppressing 13th century Scotland during an average day in the lives of four British pop musicans (John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, Ringo Starr) who arrive as the last survivors of the doomed planet Krypton.

The Four Marx Brothers are sent on an hilarious tour into Occupied France in the days following the D-Day Invasion in order to retrieve the sole-surviving member of a family following the combat deaths of his brothers.

It is what you get when you cross Star Gate with a typo. ;)

How did I miss that... I tried to make sense of it, but missed the obvious permutation of letters. :techman:

I assumed that it was a movie about Geats (the North Germanic Tribe) in space. That would be pretty cool, actually. Maybe, a crossover with Beowulf and Star Wars.

:guffaw: There could be more ancient peoples in space. Space Carthaginians with elephant shaped space ships (standing on turtles, of course) and space celts, exporting their folk songs over the galaxy, and space Greeks of course with their flying Trojan Horses (which would make them Trojan Pegasusses I guess).

I like the idea of a Terminator/Back to the Future crossover. The Terminators learn that Marty will help John Connor in the future and they send a Terminator back to 1955 in time to kill his mom before he is born. Doc Brown finds out about this and gets the help of 1985 Marty to save his parents. First thing the Terminator does when he gets to 1955 is to kill Biff and his thugs and takes his jacket and car and starts crusing through Hilldale to find Marty's mom. Eventually Marty is able to save her life when he gets his dad to stop beign a nerd and he kills the Terminator before he kills Lorraine in the car at the dance.

Going with a old-school fan theory: Knight Rider / Classic BSG.

Through a serious of incidents and attacks by KARR, Michael and KITT set out to fine the truth behind the microprocessor revolution that created KARR and KITT. They end up uncovering the truth: they are based on the recovered remains of Cylons that crashed to earth in 1980 and the Cylon mind that inhabit's KARR has become dominate and is seeking to alert the Cylon fleet to the whereabouts of Earth and the Colonials.

Star Trek VS Aliens or ST VS Predator

That would indeed work. Hell, the Hirogen ARE the Predators. Hell, you could have that the Hirogen are taught by the Predators because they "had potential", but then lost their way. (As they seem to have lost the Predator sense of honor - don't kill unarmed people, allow a victorious prey to live.)

Uh, I really really hate crossovers. How is anyone supposed to know if two different series exist in the same universe when so many crossovers keep happening? Just when I've decided that 2 crossover films make a crossover "real", I remember that Scooby-Doo met Batman in 2 films and Moriarty met Picard in 2 films. What am I gonna do now?

Most of the crossovers mentioned would only work as parodies, because there is an extreme clash of genres and styles.

When Superman fought Aliens in the comics, the writers put him in outer space so he would lose his yellow-sun-powers. When Superman fought Predator, they gave him some kind of disease to take away his powers. If you need to reduce or increase a character's power level for a crossover, you might want to think about doing a more evenly-matched crossover instead.
