Who wants to See The New Movie in 3D

The TOS-R rendition of The Doomsday Machine might be cool in 3-D. :) Also VOY's Year of Hell would be another candidate.

I can also think of a few scenes in ENT's 'Minefield' that would be pretty awesome in 3D. Probably parts of 'Shockwave' and other eps would work well, too.

I've been blind in one eye since birth, so my entire field of vision is my right eye. 3D does absolutely nothing for me, so in short, no.

I truly fear the day that all films are in 3D and it becomes the standard. I'll have to wear those stupid glasses just to see a 2D image...

By that time 3D will be replaced by Holographic films then.

Then folks won't need the glasses at all.

If i see it in 3D, will there be a 3D beer included with it?

At the Baghdad theater here in Portland you can order beers with your movie, i haven't had the chance to check it out yet though.

Pour me some space beer and get some space chicken with it :)

I don't have binocular vision (I can only use one of my eyes at a time), so any those 3D type movies and tricks don't work on me at all.
That must make day-to-day getting around interesting. No depth perception, then?

Lacking binocular vision doesn't mean I don't have any depth perception. There are other cues the brain uses to perceive depth that are not dependent on my eyes being able to process binocular vision. However, I do wonder if certain activities such as sports that involve quick reflexes in catching and hitting flying objects would come more easily to me if I had binocular vision. I could never ever catch a ball or swing well at all, but then again it could just be my nerd credentials showing. ;) I have no way of knowing though since I've never had anything but monocular vision.
