Star Trek: Sigils and Unions Logo (Warning: not your typical Trek!)

It's not perfect, I know. But I thought going with this sort of logo would be a good visual signal of how different Sigils and Unions is: this is not a Federation series...it's a Cardassian one, in the end.

I was inspired, in part, by Ziyal's art--though I took liberties with that style, of course, since Ziyal also had some of her influence coming from Bajoran art.

That's cool. I like the lettering, it's a good break from the traditional "Federation" look.

Yep, well done! I'm afraid I don't have the steadiest hand, but that's what I was using.

These days, you often see the word "sigil" in a magical/RPG type use, but it also referred to the insignia in a signet ring that was used as a personal or state seal. It's that second usage I'm going for--though the way I picture it, a Cardassian sigil looks more like a medallion (though not on a chain), than anything you'd see on a ring.
