what about Dragons Den?I guess that in a crappy genre of television, Survivor is the greatest crap.Survivor is the greatest reality show ever. FACT.
basically what happens is , the contestants/entrepreneurs pitch a business idea/product to the Dragons (business people looking to invest in new businesses), with the goal of getting the Dragons to invest in the business.^Haven't seen that one.
9) KIDS IN THE HALL: The ultimate, pseudo-intellectual, pretentious English major variety show. That's about the only folks who seem to love Kids in the Hall. I saw it as an inferior version of Conan O'Brien-style humor packed with gay white men constantly wearing drag and performing like 40% of their sketches as transvestites. That wasn't my real problem with the show because I am not homophobic, it just wasn't funny.

I loved that show, and I am not pretentious......I think?9) KIDS IN THE HALL: The ultimate, pseudo-intellectual, pretentious English major variety show.

The hype behind Dexter makes me wonder if these people have ever watched good TV before.
For me, it has to be The Sopranos, Life on Mars and Doctor Who - their reputation is inflated out of all proportion with their actual quality

"Fringe"/"Dollhouse"
How overrated is this pair of programs? Neither has broadcast one frame over the airwaves, yet both are hailed as the saviors of the small screen. Why is this? "Fringe" is essentially an "X-Files" rip-off created by the executive producer of "What About Brian?" and Joss Whedon is already re-shooting parts of "Dollhouse's" pilot. Despite this, buzz and praise are rampant. There's even a website up to save "Dollhouse" from cancellation...
4.
"Futurama"
As a whole, this show is underrated (see below) but its fans praise it like it's the best show of all time, making it overrated in a sense...
3. "Chuck"/"The Big Bang Theory"
Two shows, two different nerd stars, two premieres during the worst slate of new series in decades. Somehow these shows survived, and in their absence have grown into critically acclaimed masterpieces. What? Did nobody notice that "Chuck" is extremely boring and the one joke on "The Big Bang Theory" grew tired mid-way through the pilot?

"Star Trek"
Calm down, kids. This is not an affront against "The Next Generation." Not an assault on the movies. This is a condemnation of the original series. That campy, poorly-acted bit of foolishness that kicked around for three seasons in the late 60s. No, it wasn't terrible. It was kind of fun, kind of interesting, but completely forgettable. Had there never been a series of great movies, had the franchise never been revived with the far superior "Next Generation", "Trek" would have become just another relic of early sci-fi TV

"Family Guy"
This crass and horribly unfunny cartoon is so overrated that Fox actually un-cancelled it a few years ago, subjecting viewers to more recycled jokes than a Carlos Mencia routine
basically what happens is...^Haven't seen that one.

Dragons' Den is one of finest hours of television you can ever see. Shame on you for thinking otherwise.
And The Big Bang Theory is one of the worst sitcoms I've ever seen. And I've seen BBC1 on a Friday night.

p.s. Lay off Survivor bashing. Survivor is the greatest reality show ever. FACT.
"Angle"
It's a thrilling drama about a mathematician called Des "Angle" Pascimedes who it trying to design a shape with only two sides while getting into varying degrees of trouble. Episodes had Des sitting at a desk all day mumbling while working on equations and constantly fighting off the evil students that would knock on his door asking for advice on their thesis. His arch-nemesis was the university finance department who were constantly trying to cut his budget and get him to do some real work. The show only took off with college math professors and since they are not in the key demo it was cancelled after its second episode due to "low numbers".
