Man Robs Convenience Stores With Klingon Sword

You Klingon bastard, you broke the Slurpee machine. Klingon bastard!

I like that he wore a mask to conceal his identity and then carried an easily identifiable and rare weapon. Kind of defeats the point.

Even better, both clerks knew it was a Bat'leth

You know some poor cop was scratching his head when writing that report: "A Bat what...you saying he robbed dress like Batman?"

Well we can only hope the cops knew what he was talking about as well. Its not that easy of a weapon to describe to someone who didn't know what it already looked like. It isn't a sword anyway, its more like Boe with a sharp edge...... hum....

Yeah, I laughed at that too. Makes you wonder who was in there...

My good friend/old college roommate is a police officer in Co Springs (where the robberies took place), so he should know what it is. He's not really a Trek fan, but I think he absorbed enough through me over the years. I offered him the use of my old Klingon dictionary though, just in case they need to talk to the guy.

"Perhaps today is a good day for armed robbery!" - Klingon proverb

See you could never pull this off if you're a Star Wars fan/robber. "Oooh, he's waving a glowing stick thing at us, I guess we better hand over the till...God what a DORK!"

Now, what we really need is a nuBSG fan to build a animatronic Cylon Centurion and march it into a 7/11 for a beer run.

They probably got pissed off they weren't carrying any bloodwine so they robbed the place.

I had no idea that they made REAL Bat'leth's...
Officially? I don't think so. But yeah, there's a few people out there that make real ones. There used to be a guy on st.com a couple years or more back that popped them out of sheet-metal.

This story brings shame to the Klingon way.
The fact that he was beaten by the cunning use of the word 'No' by the second clerk is too shaming! Truely a PahtK. :klingon:
I wish I still had my 'learn Klingon' cassette tape, I used to get fabulous looks practising in the car:lol:
