My youngest daughter (and biggest Battlestar Galactica fan EVER), Tori, just email'd this pic to show off her new hair cut :)

Wow. When she starts dating, you're gonna have to watch her like a hawk. She's gonna have to beat the boys off with a stick!

Hmm ... i should rephrase that. :o

Wait, so she isn't at home? Luckily I don't see anyone in the background for which you should worry. However if I were you I'd master the "cleaning gun/sharpen knives" schtick for when the boys take notice...and they will.

Haircut looks good. Be glad she didn't go all Starbuck with her cut. ;)

Jesus Christ man- you are screwed. That girl is too beautiful.

My suggestion is that you buy a shotgun and a taser. They're gonna be several blocks deep.

He could put a tazer on the end of a shotgun barrel, and tie it in to the trigger.

Thinking about it... If I were a parent, I would probably send up a prayer of thanks if I had undateable kids. Children should only be allowed to be knockouts when they're mature enough to handle the attention...

I'm sure Spocked's kids are extremely intelligent if they take after their dad at all. :)

^ Wow. Really, dude?

Aaanyway, I started my new job on Monday, and check this out...

I work in the same building as "The Office"!

The Strand:

Why are the lines on the road not straight? Is London that full of drunks weaving about? :p

It's finally snowing in Washington (Suck it Al Gore!)

Pfft. Call that snow? If I had a proper camera, and not just my cellphone, I'd take a picture of the nine foot high, 15 foot wide snowbank I have to climb over to get to work every day. Both ways, uphill, in my father's pyjamas.

(And actually, I'm not really exaggerating. The snowplow driver who does the parking lot across the street from our office doesn't care that he's preventing people who don't drive from getting to the street I work on.)

Me, being all artsy and shit 1.05 miles from the Washington Monument (America's Wang). Does Canada have anything as phallic? I should say not!

I was going to post a photo of the CN Tower, but Garak beat me to it. The one thing that surprised me when I was in Washington last October was that the Washington Monument isn't nearly as tall as it looks in photos. Same with the Iwo Jima Memorial.

Anyway, my bf posted some photos from last weekend, when we were at Chattacon together. Here's one of us together on the grounds of the historic Chattanooga Choo-Choo Hotel, where the con was held:

It was built on the site of the old railway station, which closed in 1970. Note the antique railway cars: they've actually been converted and are used by the hotel. Some are hotel rooms, others are restaurants. We ate in the pizzeria car on the Friday night of the con.

Here's one he took of me in our hotel room as we were getting ready to go out. (I think I must have been texting a friend of mine who was at the con to ask her where the good room parties were. :) ) The hotel has several buildings, so wearing our coats was necessary just to go from our room to any of the convention's functions:

And here's one he took of me at Chattanooga Airport, heading back to Toronto on Sunday:

Speaking of snow... here's my house a few Saturdays ago during a fantastic snowstorm. We had some fun out in it...
