Grade Smallville#8-13: "Power"

OK, it was slow and plodding for most of the hour, but it had a better end, even though we've seen Super-Lana before. Next week looks a bit more tantalizing, so hopefully, it'll be better than the last two lackluster eps. I hope we see more DC characters in the rest of the season. And I'd like to see Sen. Martha Kent at least one more time. -- RR

God...Clark is so pathetic. They HAVE to make him the one to end that relationship with Lana and I just know the writers won't have the guts to do that.

It is absolutely stupid that this suite give Lana the SAME powers as a Kryptonian under a yellow sun, such as the speed and strength. I swear, if she was going to take flight I was going to scream. Why did they have to make her powers the same as Clark's, why couldn't they be unique? At least that would have been more believable based on our level of technology. Ugh

Well, it was a very "meh" episode.

I'm sorry but Lana is played Clark needs to move on. Where the hell has Lois been these last few episodes?! Jimmy?

Ugh. Very, very, meh episode.

To AM's credit, though, the directing in it was fairly good.

oh my gosh this is so freaking stupid, lana with super powers now, this whole thing is laughable, i'm seriously laughing out loud here out of the sillyness about all this

Well, the story is stretching the limits of credibility, to be sure, but Allison's directing of this material hasn't been bad.

Allison's directing is great, this episode though is pure trash from a plot perspective, and giving Lana the SAME powers as Clark from a nanosuite.

I'm giving this episode a Below Average, the only reason it isn't getting a BIZZARO from me is cause Allison did a good job directing. If she wasn't the one directing though I would rate this BIZZARO.

I am so done with Lana, it is very tiring having more episodes about her, tonight, and apparently she's the focus next week as well. I'm tired of it, simply tired of it. They need to move on, I thought we had, but here we are again with this crap. Clark will never be Superman with Lana in the picture.

I gave it a Clark Kent. I miss Lois. Lana is OK but really we had some movement going this season. Now we are all angsty again. I need a shower.

Looks like Lana will sacrifice herself and lose her powers

We can hope.

Man, I have to admit that this ep was a bit of a major disappointed. It was bad enough that it had a somewhat convoluted plot, but the return of Clana has me want to throw heavy objects at our TV, not to mention the fact I feel the need to toss my cookies.

Bring back Doomsday. Please.

I don't even know how to vote on this mish-mash of an ep.

I feel bad for Allison having this episode to debut her directing, it was a bad ep

Would have been neat if Allison had directed last weeks episode instead, she deserves better than this

Excellent epsosode. We don't know that they are the exact same powers. We know of two. Super speed and the invulnerability. Anyways.. off to teh Supernatual thread....
