Star Trek XI Enterprise's bridge

Johnnymuffintop

Commander
Red Shirt
Anyone with ideas or mock-ups on the layout?
Some people are saying there isn't enough reference yet, however I know I can make one with what is already out there, there's plenty to work from.
Now if only I could figure out how I'm going to...

This was my rough guess.

Ancient, where did you get those alcoves on either side of the viewscreen from? I don't remember them in any of the stills.

At any rate, I took your drawing and populated it with information gleaned from the available screencaps as to station labels and what color shirt sat where:

The shape of the alcoves is a guess, based on the pic of the crew standing in front of the viewer. Behind Chekov's head the wall seems to turn & fall away into the background and the viewer itself is popped out quite a ways from the wall at the front of the bridge.

Could someone do an updated layout using the new toy image as a reference?

I know toys aren't the most accurate reference around, but it's at least better than pure speculation.

Isn't that toy supposed to be something you assemble piece by expensively bought piece? That is, even the layout that's visible in the above picture could still be incomplete, missing for example some of the plexiglass walls. Not to mention the possibility that the toy here was incorrectly assembled.

It does seem to be missing the smaller glass partitions to the side of the hostess stations, and the railings.

And the entire outer wall/doors.

But who knows if they'll be included.

Well Ancient at least you can say you came close.
When we see the movie we will see just how close.
As far as the toy is concerned maybe its the Les Nessman Bridge :)

Thank goodness we have a proper bridge with lots of stations (19). It looks like the bridge of a large starship and not a luxury home cinema. I am talking about you TNG Galaxy class bridge!
