Come on Obama get moving!

When I was shopping for a new president to replace His Bushness I was assured that electing Obama would solve EVERY problem I ever had. Well he's been in office for 24 hours now and I have yet to see any improvement.


  • The kitchen sink still leaks
  • The floor-tile next to the heat vent is still missing
  • My car still idles roughly
  • Stainless steel rod is still difficult to drill
  • Taco Bell is too far away, not within walking distance
  • It is still winter.

So what is going on here? Is this just a case of backlog or something? Am I on a waiting list? Can I get some kind of time-frame here as to when I can expect to start seeing some improvement?

Obama has been President for a full 30 hours and 18 minutes and traffic still sucked on the way home.

I was lead to believe Obama was going to be a reboot but he's just a sequel.

I thought for damn sure the White House would be sporting cool new warp nacelles today. It isn't.

I'm boycotting this presidency.
 
Well, things may turn around now. Obama was just sworn in again. Apparently they were being cautious after yesterdays little flub (course it would have been the subject of many a lefties threads if it was Bush doing that).

Since Obama didn't flub, having Bush do the same thing wouldn't be a problem.
