Steve Jobs takes medical leave from Apple; COO Tim Cook in charge

Wow, just wow.

You people will turn anything in to an anti-Apple thread, won't you ?

How has what's come before this been in any way anti-Apple?

Apple fanboys getting all defensive and uptight? Surely not...

I've already explained. The thread is still here and is available for you to read. If you choose not to, if you choose to just skip straight through it then that's your problem.

I've read the whole thread and it's not in any way anti-Apple compared to some of the other threads I've seen on other boards about Jobs' health. You're reading WAY too much into this.

No, I read too much in to it. JKTim explained and that was it. Please read.

Shame. :(

I remember reading in the paper many, many years ago that he had Levis cut him something like 1000 pairs of jeans and black t-shirts so he wouldn't have to worry about fashion (my kind of guy!)!

It is amazing how he and his team have grown Apple into a major presence in people's lives; how the IPod and ITunes have been defined by this generation as the music distribution/player of choice (much like Sony's Walkman and Discman); and how Pixar saved Disney from the inside out (:D).

I have a lot of respect for this guy, I think he is a real visionary, and wish him well.

Hope he gets well. I'm a big Microsoft supporter, but watch his and
Bill Gates interview, I believe it was last year, together was awesome
and I definitely came to respect him as another tech person and as
a big mover in that field.

So I hope he gets very very well... and in the meantime we attack Apple
headquarters

Whatever's wrong with him, I hope he gets well.

Sounds serious. Which means this is probably in bad taste, but:

:p

But what we do know is that Jobs hid the fact of his illness from the board and the public

No one owes the public any explanation about anything.

Internal boards and shareholders are one thing, but it's no one else's damn business outside the company.
