I don't think Bears posted those in order to be critiqued. Fair enough when the poster specifically asks for that, as has been done here in the past... but Bears did not.

Of course, when someone chooses an outfit, it would be very odd if 100% of the people loved it madly, but if you don't like it, best thing is to not say anything at all, right? She's already bought the damn things, and said herself she really likes this fashion, how does that invite these self-satisfied kind of comments?

Last time I checked, none of us here are the last word in fashion. It's all a matter of personal choice. If I want to post myself wearing sackcloth, it's not really anyone's place to negatively nor condescendingly comment as though they are god's word on the subject. How rude and patronising.

For what it's worth, I thought she looked good in all three.

Outfit #1: Avoid; makes you look liek a Season 1 Willow from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer".

Outfit #2: Doesn't quite work. And the horizontal stripes don't go for everybody.

Yes, you would. In fact, you probably have a slightly closer view from your workplace. Though the castle would be the nearest bit?

That was taken from the building site that is the 'Heartland Project' at about 7:50 on Saturday. After a fortnight off with 'flu I go back to work tomorrow, so back to walkies in the dark. It'll be weeks before I can snap another sunrise.

This looks seriously good. Baked potatoes, yum! And the heavy booze is exactly what you need to counteract that type of winter food. My SO and I are absolutely mad about chicken tikka with Basmati rice... We have it at least once a week. Flavoursome and filling.

This makes me want to start a topic about posting what your favourite was of what you ate this week: pics, with a few word of explanation, if necessary...
