It wasn't a great performance, now that might have been down to the script or it might just be his age-also he seemed to vanish rather suddenly, again that might have been the story, or he might not have been up to the schedule. I think if they do bring him back it needs a good script and for him to not do too much rushing about.
Given the last time Rusty and Roberts collaborated, we got the excellent Invasion of the Bane, I'd say we've got nothing to worry about.Should we be worried that there's two people writing the script?
that is one of the best episodes in NewWho, spin-off or not.Given the last time Rusty and Roberts collaborated, we got the excellent Invasion of the Bane, I'd say we've got nothing to worry about.Should we be worried that there's two people writing the script?
While it's nice and all if he shows up in SJA, he really should be showing up in Who.
I dont disagreeWhile it's nice and all if he shows up in SJA, he really should be showing up in Who.
The brig needs to go. I loved him back then, but IMO far too many brig fans are expecting the excellence we saw in the 70s and 80s to manifest itself in a character who is 70+ years old, and an actor as old too. He's fun to see, of course; I simply don't feel we need to bring him back for nerd's sake.

I certainly think they need to give the character some closure before Courtney dies...
that is an issue, having him in one of these specials seems like a great way to give him a final goodbyeI certainly think they need to give the character some closure before Courtney dies...
Ah, that would be when we all predicted exactly how it'd turn up a week before part 2 aired, yet The Doctor was totally clueless until the moment it turned up!The Tardis is simply a plot device to get the Doctor to wherever shit's going down. I don't think that tidbit is any more of a revelation than The Impossible Planet when the silly bugger lost it down a canyon.
