The 11th doctor's new wardrobe

So we got a hair thread so I thought we needed a wardrobe thread. The outfit in the pictures released is NOT the final costume. It's just for promotion.

Maybe 11's suit can be a blend of 10's and 9's. I don't think we'll get the frilly shirts since its not 1970's anymore We certainly won't get the color blind 6th doctor's costume.

A return to the hat? maybe? no? 50/50 chance?

I kinda like the simple outfit used in that publicity shot. Hopefully the days of outlandish Doctor outfits are long gone.

Hopefully the trend begun with 9 and 10's costumes will continue whereby the Doctor manages to both blend in and stand out all at the same time. So far we've had Eccleton's U-Boat Captain look (I love that line) and Tennant's blend of spiv/Jarvis Cocker/ 70's cop.

Personally I kinda like the look he's wearing in the press release photo by the TARDIS, although I'd want something a tiny bit more eccentric and less generic. Def short coat over long though...

I certianly dont think we will ever see a return to the 7th Doctors outfit, and yeah there is nothing wrong with the press release photo its just too generic too everyday, it does need something more eccentric to it.
