Just watching Total wipeout on BBC 1 and i think this is one of the worst shows on tv at the moment.
What where the bbc thinking anyone here thinks this show is any good?

After ROGUE SPOOKS from BBC and soon to be DEMONS on ITV, the once proud and envied British TV is becoming one giant joke.

I do not think i will watch this again but i can't wait for Oz and James British adventure.
I loved the last two shows they did even though i am not a wine drinker.:D

What is it? Never heard of it. I hardly watch any terrestial TV at all anymore.
Is it related to the gameshow Wipeout that used to be on BBC, with Paul Daniels!

Nope - try to think of it more as Takeshi's Castle mixed with Gladiators and you're sort of getting close. I found it quite enjoyable, and certainly better than watching a bunch of orange b list celebrities mincing round a dance floor for hour after interminable hour. I think if they had gone more over to the Takeshi's castle format and not concentrated quite so much on trying to keep them safe it would have been a lot better.

I think the Danish version of this is filmed at the same place.

I thought the same. Enjoyable crap at least. Killed some time, probably wouldn't have watched it if I had my PVR full of stuff to hand though.

Total shite, but it has one redeeming feature, it's ten times better than the ultra-shite 'Hole in the Wall'.....

I'm on the iPlayer watching it. The first task is really quite sadistic.
Compared to Takeshi's Castle and it's opening gambit of "Knock Knock" where one hundred contestents fling themselves at unsafe velocities towards a plywood wall in the hope they find the right false door, this first task is like morning coffee in a nursing home.

I wish more Brits would follow the Japanese way of just sprinting through the games, speed does help, it was all this fannying about and gingerly stepping on things that caused problems for loads of them.

It's a filler show. After all the budget cuts someting has to give. I would rather see reruns of good shows.
I would imagine you could watch it once and know the rest of the series.
Anyway Harry Hill is back soon.
while we are on the subject what happend to 'The Late Edition'. I miss that!
