The book has been out long enough for it to reasonably not have to be spoiler code. The book has been around for, what, a decade or better?
Yeah, I'd say it need not be spoilered any more than any other 10+ year old book needs to be.

I just figured that since some people might not have gotten around to reading it yet, a spoiler warning might be appropriate. But you're right, I would do a spoiler warning for The Great Gatsby.

It's been 10 years. If they haven't read it by now they're never getting around to it.
Gatsby? Closer to 90 years, people CERTAINLY aren't reading it by now if they haven't already -and weren't forced too in high school.
Maybe SF hauled it from the planet and used install part of it(like the compuets etc on other galaxy class ships.
