Which Trek Publication Had The Best Cover Art?

What's Case of the Colonist's Corpse? That sounds like an interesting book...
EDIT: I see now, I think I should get it...

Oh, man, how could I forget The Case of the Colonist's Corpse? Best cover EVAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As a huge Rex Stout fan and I've read some other older mysteries I loved that cover too.

And even though Rosetta breaks one of my rules for a good cover, I much prefer paintings of our heroes over photographs, it's one of my favorites.

'nuff said.

Perhaps you could find a huge jpeg of it and print it? Just a suggestion, not being sarcastic or anything..

I looked on the 'net and the biggest size I could find is 579by306, the one currently found in the forums...

I'd love to have this cover as a huge poster on my wall. Anyone know if it is available???

The talented John Picacio executed the Crucible artwork. I met John at Comic-Con one year, where he explained the multilayered process he employed to create the art, which involved in part photo manipulation on a computer. As a result, the work did not actually exist as a physically rendered piece anywhere.

At that convention, the redoubtable Marco Palmieri, in the service of promoting the Crucible trilogy, had a large copy of John's artwork printed in full color and mounted on posterboard. At the conclusion of the con, he graciously made a gift of it to me, and John Picacio autographed it.

Not long after I returned home, I received a tube in the mail. Opening it, I was surprised to find an original copy of John's Crucible artwork, which he had made specifically for me, and which he signed. It is amazing.

All of which is to say, doing what you love often provides unexpected rewards.

^Lucky man!...so all I have to do to recieve free prints is start writing Trek professionally...hmmm...

i think the cover for After the Fall is the best!

i like the covers for all 3 Vanguard novels & Titan book 4 as the ship looks awesome

I'm surprised no one's mentioned:The Sky's The Limit." A beautiful cover that I would love to get framed to hang but sadly, I'm not sure if I can.

David,

Can you post a pic of how the Crucible cover looks hanging on your wall?
