Does anyone subscribe to or download regularly a podcast, and which ones are your favourites?

Me, I listen to 7 regular podcasts:

Fighting Talk - a BBC Five Live comedy panel game based on sports punditry, currently hosted by Colin Murray.
Friday Night Comedy Podcast - usually BBC Radio 4's The News Quiz (hosted by Sandi Toksvig) or The Now Show (starring Steve Punt and Hugh Dennis).
Chequered Flag - the podcast of Five Live Formula One hosted by David Croft and former driver Maurice Hamilton.
Mark Kermode's Film Reviews - a regular fixture of Friday afternoons, hosted by Simon Mayo alongside Mark Kermode, and almost always hilarious. (Frequently streamed as live video on the main website and appearing on BBC Five Live's YouTube channel later.) It's also quite popular with those in the film industry, and the likes of Jason Isaacs, David Morrissey, and Stephen Fry are allegedly subscribers to this podcast, hence the weekly shout-outs to these people.
The Jick & Skully Show - the podcast from the creators of online game Kingdom of Loathing - quite a hefty show, though.
The Official LOST Podcast - from ABC's website itself, and usually featuring producers Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse. Sometimes appears as a video podcast with exclusive interviews with the cast.
The LOST Initiative - the official UK-based LOST podcast, produced for Sky1 (previously known as Lost UK back when it was first shown on Channel 4) and hosted by the annoying Iain Lee.

Hrm, I got into podcasts in a big way recently. I have 17 regular podcasts, the highlights are: The Adam and Joe podcast, The Basketball 24/7 Podcast, Fighting Talk, Mark Kermode, Listen to the Lancet, NEJM This Week, The Game Podcast, and UN Daily News.

I've narrowed it down considerably over the last several months. I did listen to quite a few Doctor Who podcasts, but certain ones just got stupid. Radio Free Scaro is one of them. There are three guys doing it. Two are just fine. One has this annoying, grating "laugh" that he does about every 15 seconds. It became a drinking game for awhile. When I realized I didn't care what the rest were saying and it was a podcast just for the annoyance, the cast was ... deleted.

For awhile, there was a nice little True Blood podcast. Unfortunately, they stopped putting the show out after 3 or 4 episodes. It was too bad, as I could tell they were big fans of not just the show, but the books as well.

My current podcasts include:
The Babylon Podcast
Whovian Quest (brilliant show; a British guy goes back to the very beginning of Who, watches each story, including the reconstructed "lost episodes" and does a commentary one per story)
Doctor Who: The BBC Commentaries
Friday Night Comedy from BBC Radio 4 (though the BBC podcasts do have one annoying thing about them; if you don't download them that week, it's too late, they're gone. Commentaries, comedy, anything, they only keep up for a week and then poof. I hate that.)
The Onion Radio News

The Podcast of Rassilon ... Ok they've only had one real episode so far, but the promos were nothing short of brilliant "This is the tool shed of Rassilon, this is the lawn mower of Rassilon" etc.
Slice of SciFi
The Dragon Page Cover to Cover

There are others, such as the Lost and BSG commentaries, but since the shows aren't running now, no downloads and such.

The only podcasts i've ever bothered with are RDM's from Battlestar Galactica.
And I like them a lot, with the wife, the scotch and the smokes included

Thanks for the recommendation, OmahaStar; I'll give The Podcast of Rassilon a try. :)

As for the criticisms of Radio Free Skaro... I probably liked it better when it was just Steven and Warren, too. I don't mind Chris "the Third Guy," but I'm not sure what he adds to the program. I haven't listened to it recently; I wasn't that interested in their run of episode commentaries.

Try Tachyon TV. It brings the snark. And they have pretty good interviews, too. :)

I just "discovered" podcasts a couple of months ago. I only listen to one, about reality TV that someone on the board had mentioned. I would like to listen to more, but I don't really know how to go about looking for them or what they would be about. Besides reality TV, there's no other genre of TV that I really like, I just watch a lot of random shows. I just can't think of what else I would be interested in.

If you're into films (and even if you're not) I'd recommend the Kermode Film Reviews from the BBC Five Live website (http://www.bbc.co.uk/fivelive) as a good starting point. It's never dull when the Good Doctor is in. :bolian:

The BBC has a few other interesting podcasts on a variety of topics covered by radio shows, usually available only for the week since initial broadcast. Have a look around.

I'm only just getting into podcasts, myself. Currently I listen to Definitely Not the Opera podcast, is the podcast version of a popular and eclectic CBC radio show, as well as a music podcast called The Best Radio Show You've Never Heard. I'm always looking for more, though!

I've gotten a lot of ESPN podcasts (Football, Baseball, Fantasy, and Hockey) as well as a great weekly Hockey Podcast called PuckPodcast. I'd recommend it to any NHL Hockey fan since they cover all 30 teams each week. It's pretty much where I get all the Hockey News.

I'm always looking for more though, be it sports, scifi, movie, or otherwise-oriented.

Scientific American has a really great podcast that I listened to for quite a while. Taking a break for a bit though because the topics hadn't interested me so much and found I didn't have the time to listen to them.

But I do subscribe now mostly to sports-related podcasts. Prime Time Sports, Sens Underground, Philscast (which disappeared in August for some reason), UnitedMania (a DC United podcast).

I listen to:

Around Comics
Astronomy Cast
The Atheist Exprience
The Crankcast
iFanboy
The Non-Prophets
The Skeptics Guide to the Universe
Skeptic's Guide 5x5
The Devil & Me
Smodcast

Plus random others from time to time.

I also listen to RDM's podcast commentary tracks for BSG when they are running.

My regulars are Moore's BSG podcast, Smodcast (Kevin Smith & Scot Mosier), The BS Report (Bill Simmons), Filmspotting (a good/fun movie review-discussion), Real Time with Bill Maher, Diggnation (though I'm way behind and usually just watch whatever's newest when I get around to it), NPR Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and This American Life (if you've never heard this show, do yourself a favor and listen to a few because the topics vary greatly).

I listen to quite a few here and there. Some intermittently, some more regularly.

Dan Patrick Show
Adam Carolla Show
BSG commentary podcast
Gateworld Podcast
Major Nelson Radio (Xbox 360)
OXM Podcast (Xbox 360)
Magical Definition Podcast
Micecast
A Way With Words
Coasterbuzz
Leo Laporte Tech Guy
This Week In Tech
WDW Radio Show
1Up Yours
PC Gamer
BS Report
Some of the other ESPN shows when I miss them on the radio or feel like listening on my commute at work instead of watching on tv (like Around the Horn, PTI, Thundering Herd, etc.).

I listen to far too many podcasts. I used to listen to mp3's of the Howard Stern show. But as I listened to more and more podcasts, I started to fall weeks, and eventually months behind the live show. My list is actually much longer than this, but these are my favorite podcasts.

The Lost Flashbacks
Five Hundy By Midnight
The Lost Podcast with Jay and Jack
The 10th Wonder
The Skeptics Guide To The Universe
Skeptoid
Make It So
Movies You Should See
The Definitive Word
Sci-Fi Surplus
GSPN: The Weekly Lost Podcast
GSPN: Heroes Fan Podcast
Treks In Sci-Fi
Cranky Fanatic
The Strip: Las Vegas Podcast
The Vegas Guys
Back Story: With the American History Guys

Mine actually aren't the SciFi tinged, I listen to a number of NPR and Businessweek podacasts, and my nerdiest one I suppose it 1up Yours, which I'd definitely recommend to any gaming fan or semi-hardcore gamer.

1up Yours and Giant Bombcast are musts if you're into video games. Every other video game podcast I've sampled sucks balls compared to these two. Giant Bombcast's opinions about Sony Home a few podcasts ago are some of the funniest comments/rants/raves I've ever heard.

Most of the other podcasts I listen to are music-based:

KEXP Music That Matters
Radio 538: Dance Department
Tiesto's Club Life
Matt Darey's Nocturnal
Above & Beyond: Trance Around the World
