If I win (I'm not really counting on it thought), this has the makings of being like the Steelers two years ago... the second wildcard somehow managing to go all the way. That would be absolutely shocking if it did happen, but I wouldn't complain. I just need my big three to come out in force against Buffalo.

I'm not so sure about my ESPN team, but my Yahoo team has the goods to go all the way, and has been putting up pretty good averages. Good luck, though, you've put up a good fight to get here. Especially with football being such a crapshoot...

And good luck to you as well, Scout! May it be a good, high-scoring game!

It's taken until now for me to stop screaming over my loss.

Any other season Peyton Manning would not suck for the first half of the season. Any other season Steve Smith wouldn't be missing for the first 4 games. Any other season Reggie Bush wouldn't be injured the back half of the season.

Sure a lot of what if's, but I got screwed by the fantasy Gods.

I agree with the first two statements above, but Bush is always hurt. Nonetheless, I had him in my money league and he was a beast until his knee injury.

Looks like I lost the 3rd place match in the ESPN keeper league to the Minnesota Gophers. I shouldn't have overthought things so much- had I just played my regular players, I would have had a chance. Instead, I picked up the Cleveland defense (only because they were playing Cincy), sat RB Chris Johnson (thought the Steelers D would shut him down) and sat Brandon Jacobs (worried about the weather). The RBs I played didn't do squat and I left a lot of points on the bench.

Oh well, considering I finished 12th last year, I guess 4th isn't too bad. At least I'm moving in the right direction.

Oh, wow, I just pulled a huge upset over Scout! He was slated to beat me by 15 points and was the fan favorite (I even voted for him!), and I'm on top by 40! Considering that this is my first year ever doing this, I will definately take 1st place here and 3 place in my ESPN league.

So, nice job Scout and good job everyone this season! This was definately fun and hope to join in next year!

Don't beat yourself up too much, if I did the math right if you started those you would have ended up with 93 points, 7 points short of my 100 total. But I do know the pain of leaving points on the bench.

Also Peg we both finished 3-10 last year in the ESPN league and we both ended up meeting up in the third place game, so a great improvement for both of us.

Congrats. Looking forward to next year, and also to the Baseball season. Maybe I can actually win a week (In baseball) before the All Star Break. ;)

Congarts Archer and Scout - well played.

I finished 3rd for the 2nd year in a row, after winning it my first year. Not a bad three year record.

Next year, I'm starting a CBSSportsline league for all who are interested - I will be the commish. Please let me know your interest in playing.

    Congrats!

I could not defend my titles this year. Congrats to all that won, and thanks to everyone who played.

    And DH, I'll join.

BTW, speaking of starting new leagues, I'm thinking about opening up the Fantasy Baseball for ESPN for here. For some reason I just like ESPN's interface better than Yahoo (Probably has to do with free live scoring but it's more than that). If anyone is interested in that one, let me know.

    Great!

I'm not charging anything... we can vote if we want to play for money, but I'm thinking not. I just want to run it a little different than this current league.

I'm pretty happy with my performance in the ESPN League. For the second year in a row, I've cared for more about that team since it's easier to keep track of without paying extra money.

Congrats to The Freak Parade (archerguy1701) for winning the Yahoo AFC league! You had a great start, but we'll be ready for you next year!

Congrats to Amish Assassins (coaster) for winning the ESPN keeper league!! Since I had to lose to the same team three times, it's kind of nice to do it against the champion.

And congrats to Scout for his two silver medals. I'm sure you wanted more, but taking second in two leagues is pretty damned impressive!

We already have a BBS Keeper league on ESPN. Maybe we'll have a team opening - we'll have to see.

We do have a team opening in the ESPN football keeper league, if anybody wants to take over a team that an owner seems to have abandoned.

Thanks for the congrats on the ESPN title. Feels like I took care of unfinished business after dominating last year, but losing in the playoffs. It's definitely a challenge playing in our Vince Lombardi division. Brutal competition there. In two years, I've gone 25-4 against top-notch competition, so I'm pretty happy about that. Soon we'll be starting the next season and the challenge starts all over again.

I do feel like I've played Scout and Peg about 100 times in the playoffs in both baseball and football recently. :p

But that does not mean he can't start a league as well.

    Also congrats Coaster.

I don't think I want to join a keeper league. How is it fair when not all players are fair game. I was thinking keeping the same standards of Yahoo, but putting it on ESPN instead. Who knows, it's a long way to go till the season. I'll probably just do the ESPN thing seperate and do two leagues.
