Just wondering if anyone on here had any special plans for what they are doing over the Christmas period ??? My X mas day will be pretty standard but somepoint over hoildays, me n two other friends are having a RESIDENT EVIL night because were going to set up ...

Wii - Resident Evil 4

SEGA Dreamcast - Resident Evil Code Veronica

PC - Resdient Evil (N64 EMU)

and finish it off by watching the new CGI, Resident Evil movie ;)

Anyone else doing owt fun ?

On Tuesday, the day before my best friend and I go to our respective family Christmas whatevers, we are going to have a Buffy/Angel Drink-a-thon.

Should be sweet.

Just me and the family for Christmas but friends are coming over for new years so will probably repeat last year's events - watch the Blues Brothers and get trashed.

Going on a cruise to Mexico... going to miss the chinese food and movies on Christmas day, but I'll live :D

Christmas will probably be the usual-open up small gifts in the morning, eat a nice meal, and watch a little TV/movies if anything is good on TV. We might MIGHT have a family member coming to visit..that is if he can get some financial stuff done before hand. And hopefully, Dad will go hunting on Christmas day or the day after. So that's the extent of my holiday this year.

I'm going to finish Oblivion after 2.5 years. Then I've got a stack of games, DVDs and Blu-Rays to get through.

I'm planning to write the next essay for my masters. And get rid of this bloody bug before I return to work.

*Passes round ecinacea*

As per usual I'm going North to see family and friends. I'm really looking forward to spending time with my niece and nephew. As per usual, I've spoiled them rotten.

Nothing special. Will visit dad for a few days over the Christmas period itself, and generally enjoy having a proper break from work, etc for the rest of the time I've got off.

In a way, it's really nice not having anything very special or major to do. Just a good chance to unwind & relax.

Got invited to Christmas dinner by a co-worker... and the menu looks extravagant, so I'm really looking forward to it.

Have no family here, so it relieved my mom when she found out I'd have someplace to go and not spend the holiday by myself.

I'm hoping to meet a friend I haven't seen since high school graduation, but that's contingent on my latest plane ticket not becoming useless due to weather conditions again.

Other than that, I just want to get home. I'll figure out the rest when and if I get there.

Almost exactly what I'm doing!

Well that, and playing Guitar Hero with my son

We'll have the usual family dinner at my house on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (this year it's going to be my family's first Christmas at the house we bought). We have so many get-togethers anyway, so I reckon there won't be anything special other than exchanging presents, eating, watching TV, eating, staying home, eating. :D On New Year's Eve, we have a little dinner celebration as well.

I'm also taking my usual vacation from work, so I'm off from December 26 through January 5, but I'm on a tight budget this year, and I'm not really doing any traveling or anything special.

Cool thread :techman:

We're not doing anything huge, but I have the week off which is awesome. I'm planning on outlining the rest of my book, and likely adding some sections here and there.

On Christmas we'll have the kids over - I'm cooking a Christmas ham, just like my grandmother always did. :bolian:
