Types of travellers 'discovered'

Yes, research has been commissioned, and the professors have been working... to tell us about traveller types.

And the result? Some people research and plan for holidays, while others do it more spontaneously with less planning.

Bravo. Bravo. Wow. Thank you, such insight has been gained.

But it's a LITTLE complicated for me to understand ALL these types.

What's that? You're either Mr Spock or Homer Simpson?

NOW I get it. One's so logical, and the other is a dolt. A clever use of popular culture to convey complicated research findings.

Dear god.

:guffaw:

Pope-in-woodland-defaecation scientific research and pop culture presentation. Makes you feel proud to be British. :bolian:

The stuff that money gets spent on to study  I won't to conduct a study to see if dogs and cats are different, I'll need 10 million in small unmarked bills.

and these people get paid money to do these studies? :wtf:

I'm on the wrong career path. :(
Indeed.

I'm founding the LOLCat foundation. Our goal is to see how many LOLcats can being posted before they stop being funny and they get a user banned.

I will be applying for congressional grant this sprint.

Oh, you laugh, but you have no idea how many thank-you hams those scientists are going to get from other scientists who are grateful to have something to cite when they bring up vacation patterns in their own studies on, say, the recidivism rate of violent criminals who's mothers did that thing where they spit on the hanky and then use it to wipe a smudge off their child's face in public.

It's the research silly season. You should have read this week's Christmas special BMJ and their typically lame attempts to be funny (well, OK, the Hello! style cover did make me chuckle).

Isn't the BMJ like that all year round nowadays? ;)
