Help Finding a 90s Computer Game

Okay, I am having the hardest time remembering the name of a computer game I used to play in the mid 90s. If this needs to be moved to GTV&M then feel free to do so.

It probably came out in 1996 or 1997...maybe a year or two earlier. It was mostly a children's game. The point of it was to make your own movies. You would write the script, choose the sets and characters, and then they would act out your movie. The characters were cartoonish, not human...must have been animals like bears and ducks or something. They fit different stereotypes, like the pin-up model and the goofy guy.

When you played your movie, the character's voices would speak in that weird computer-talk. All slow and awkward, misprouncing words wrong many times. I hope you know what I mean. Part of the fun of the game (for my friend and I at least) was hearing them try to pronounce the weird words we threw at them.

I think the word Hollywood may have been in the title, but maybe not. I remember this game being a lot of fun and I was recently very curious about it. But I am going crazy trying to find it on Google or anywhere else.

Can anyone help me?

I'm pretty certain I know what you're talking about, I think it was included as freeware with the first Win 95 machine I owned. I'm at a loss as to what it's called though, I spent some time Googling too and came up with nothing. I also think "Hollywood" was in the title.

Hollywood Movie Maker, something like that.

There are, however, several modern programs that do the same thing.

I also know it but can't remember the name. Hollywood Movie Maker or something like that, I think. Movie Maker was definitely part of the title, though.

What a coincidence that everyone seems to know the game, but you guys can't remember the name either.

It's not Hollywood Mogul, that seems more like an adult game that focuses on the business aspect of the industry.

I have been searching with the terms Hollywood and Movie Maker but nothing is coming up, nothing at all.

I know I either own or used to own this game (if I'm thinking of the right one). When I go home for winter break, I'll check if I still have it (it's installed on my now dead computer, so, sadly, I can't just look there with a dir/p).

I definitely remember that. We had it on our class computers back in grade 5 or so. I remember how it would just spell out words it didn't recognize. A friend and I made some very broken movies doing that.

There was also a Simpsons version (different software, but did the same thing) which I still have somewhere.
