I met her back in 1994 at Grand Slam, in Pasadena. She signed some photos and was the nicest person to me, listening to me babble on about how much I and my sister enjoyed her performances as Lwaxana Troi.

Wow..and totally unexpected as well. I had no idea she was so ill. My mom passed away from cancer two years ago. Just a terrible disease. RIP Majel...I'm sure Gene will be glad to be with you again..at last.

Wow, didn't expect this.. Seems like many famous people die in December.. (Anne-Cath Vestly, one of Norways most foremost children's author died three days ago, and the actor who played "Derrick" also died)
