I was also thinking (somewhat engineered by Trekkerguy's reaction to an earlier post of mine in this thread) that many men's idea of "romance" is truly different from most women's. they do look at it from more of a "hot", "intense" point of view, I think.
Sometimes yes, but actually there's alot more too it than that.
Here I'll tell the story a little more extensively for yall...
Basicaly without getting into too many details, we had been on the phone
for nine hours while she sat in her car in the back of a Walmart parking lot
falling asleep. Just before she did she said "Come to me, I need to know
you're real..." at that moment I got up and said I would(Which kind of freaked
her out) started getting dressed and called my mom to tell her I would be
out of town. I then drove 400 miles to Utah through a blizzard, where I got
held up behind miles of traffic in the worst of it. Once I got there and we
sat for hours in my car talking, the rest happened in the back seat.
And
I was the hesitant one. So it's that moment that is remembered
(at least in many cases) because it's the culmination of everything else.
Not simply because it was hot and steamy.
Of course it means little now but that's not the point...
