Star Wars stage show?

John Williams and the Royal Philharmonic rank slightly above "and I mean anything" sellout crap.

As stated: "It will not be a traditional musical with actors playing characters from the films, but will feature live narrators."

More like a SW "Peter and the Wolf" kind of thing.

Live symphonic music composed by Williams? I'm there.

I've been offered advance tickets to the performance at The O2 in London (as I'm an O2 customer), which I might take them up on.

However, I'm kind of dissapointed it's not a musical. I was so looking forward to Darth Vader's song :D.

Same here. I was hoping for a little...

If I were a good man,
Ya ha deedle [gasp] deedle, bubba [gasp] bubba, deedle [gasp] deedle, dum.
All day long I wouldn't try and kill my son.
If I were a better man.

I predict that this show will complete its entire run in less than twelve parsecs. ;)

Sounds like a lot of fun though. I'd love to see John Williams performing the music from the films in person.

 on the song.

And, yes, it would really be cool to have Williams there in person though I doubt it's going to happen.

dang, I thought it ws going to be a musical with the dancing chorus line of Stormtroopes ala the Lucas roast...my way works for Vader as well. ;)

does sound like a nice event, wish I could see it.
