Oh come on....The Simpsons was hilarious last night, the ratings should have been higher

It was on at a special time, which people might not have realised. Also, that's kinda faulty logic, people wouldn't know it was hilarious unless they actually watched it...

Plus it was average at best. :p

The Simpsons series low?! How far back do the ratings go?

I thought it was just a season low but heard it was a series low (the worst season average in its 20 season history is 7.7 million) so 6.19 for a single episode seems to be the lowest its ever gotten.

A blip am sure.

CW

Jericho (Repeat) - 1.13 million & 0.4/1
What prompted this?

CW had farmed out their Sunday night block to an outside company, who then proceeded to stink the night up. CW then took the time back and programmed reruns of Jericho (a CBS production) along with movies. Nothing more, nothing less.

About Simpsons: time shifting a program like this-a new episode too!-is plain stupid. As far as I'm concerned, no program should be airing fresh episodes past December 5. People are starting to think about Christmas and will forget the shows are on.

I live in PA and I saw Simpsons.

It was pretty asinine to air a single new show a half hour after its time slot. Who the hell is going to know its on?
