5 years already? Hardly seems possible. I'd have guessed 3.

The show had three good years, and then the last two feel out of place. However it will be missed. Wonderful show is ending.

Nice ending, I actually liked the first episode more, but it ended nicely. It ended with you wanting more, but still with closure. I like that in a series finale. I would have loved to see them deal with marriage and the Chinese, and maybe starting a new company.

All the shows I watch, besides House and Bones, will be ending soon. I guess i will save money on cable when it gets canceled after next year.

So Denny and Alan are "married" now eh? I put that in quotes because we'll never get to see if the legal part comes through.

One thing I wish we could have seen on Boston Legal was Leonard Nimoy making an appearance. George Takei would have been a hoot as well.

And in closing, someone here, when asked how Denny and Alan would go out, said that they'd go in style. Did they?

I'll be honest, I wish the stuff they'd dealt with in tonight's two-parter had been the basis of the entire final season. Just make it one big thirteen-episode arc, dealing with the takeover by the Chinese and Denny's deteriorating condition. It was really solid stuff, but they could have done even more with it if they'd wanted.

Still, Boston Legal went out with a bang, which is more than I can say for the other TV show I've been watching this fall (Knight Rider). At least I'll have my DVDs to enjoy again and again.

I will just post some notes I took down on my BlackBerry as I watched, if that's okay:

Denny paintballing the Chinese group! What a way to open the first ep LOL. I felt bad that Denny's Mad Cow had to manifest in such a sad way, with him blacking out and pulling a pre-rehab Downey, Jr. Goldilocks Maneuver (wrong house, wrong bed).

DENNY ASKING ALAN TO MARRY HIM HOMG

Alan saving the firm by one of his last brilliant rants! "You're all fired" -- and it got... applause??

Denny vetting marriage to Alan: "you're the man I love... Take my hand, Alan. Take my money." ALAN SAYING YES, EVEN THOUGH IT IS THE MOST RIDICULOUS THING THEY'VE EVER DONE. Epic win for "like jumping a shark" "on a new network/one that cares" and "man and mad cow" HAHAH

    @@@
"You must be the Jew" - "child of a christian and jew" joke... omg DEK with the religion (Sack is a Jew??)

"We'd like to apply for a moustache, er, marriage license.... He completes me" ALAN ♥♥

Alan's argument that it's bigotry to judge a couple based on who does or does not have sex <--Liberalism I can agree with (conditionally)! ;)

And damn Shirley wtf with the hebrew holiday hate? o_O

Was Alan getting a little jealous over Denny in the hotel bar, or was it just that he didn't get to her first (like that case with Jeri Ryan)?

Alan sticking it to the Supreme Court one last time (light up tie!), his whole 'wave at me Clarence' bit XD
also confessing his love for Denny in not so many words

    Canada: Scalia and... CHENEY!?!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

re: the dance -- Alan alone :C

CHINESE ON THE BALCONY OMG OMG OMG (crack spinoff?)

    AWW Jerry and Katie :)

*sigh* It's all over. But that final balcony scene, it warmed my heart <3

When I first saw the Chinnese the first thing that came to my mind was going to be a Newhart type ending. Kirk was going to wake up in his quarters or something, and then saying "I had this interesting dream..." then Spock saying saomething to the effect "I told you not to drink that Romulan ale last night."
Ofcourse I knew that wasn't going to happen. But still an interesting thought.

They did the ceremony, but from what I saw, the part about the license being challenged was still up in the air.

The same judge who tossed out the Massachusetts Gay and Lesbian League's injunction against Alan and Denny was the same judge they brought with them to Nimmo Bay, so I'm pretty sure they got the marriage license.

Same here, I always thought it was on the roof.

Pretty good ending, funny stuff, and very absurd moments

    But good stuff, none-the-less.

Sad to see this show go.

Great ending. Only a show like BL could do that ending and have you believe it makes sense for the characters. HA!

I have the first two seasons on DVD, but hadn't watched in a while. I chalked it up to being a little rusty with my memories of the show. Maybe they just weren't real clear about it.

So...this this the first time in nearly 20 years with out a David E Kelley show on the air. I wonder what he'll be up to next....

The Judge ruled they were allowed to get married. Alan asked her to do the Wedding, but after that he asked the Supreme Court Justice to do it when they caught him at the cabin.

Good episode. I'll miss this show.
