I'm so glad I read through this thread, otherwise I might have gone my entire life missing the word "douchebaggery" from my vocabulary. I intend to use that word tomorrow three times in conversation, in context, just so I don't lose it from memory.

And I generally like reading most types of posters: adds to the variety. I have stopped going to a number of other boards because all the people there were carbon copies of each other. What was the point when you already knew how every thread would go? Great community here.

I'd only say that I get irritated at posters who won't cool it on off-topic discussions when it's clear that neither side is going to yield. For god's sake, just disagree and move the hell on.

I'm a big fan of the funny, smart, non-douchebaggy type posters. Two out of those three is also acceptable, because I have low standards.

This is true, though it's a rare gift. Clinically speaking, there is a fine line to walk between aggressive smartassery and outright douchebaggery. One must be ever vigilant not to cross that line lest they be labeled "douchebag" forever.

Generally the 2/3rds rule holds true, but it's more a guideline than an actual rule, much like the pirate code.

Seriously, though, it is true. It's honestly not my intent to engender such attention. I just like to play around, but if what you're saying is actually true (and I doubt it for the most part), I'd be a little embarrassed.
