Another pie, of course...now that it's cancelled...gah.

Hell... I'm gay and I can't even over look Olive. Kristin is hot.

I'm straight (but female) and I agree. Ned's craaaazy. :rommie:

Waffle Nazi was the guy who plays Jimmy Barrett, the Don Rickles-type insult comedian on Mad Men, didja notice?

Decent episode, but there was more evidence to a theory I've had since the start of the show, a very creepy theory.

Ned and Chuck are half-siblings? :D Or...different kind of creepy?

Are you sure it would cost a lot? Pushing Daisies looks like the kind of show Sci Fi could afford

No, it looks completely out of Skiffy's league. What expensive looking shows does Skiffy air? I haven't noticed any. The best it does are shows like BSG which cleverly make a dollar stretch till it squeaks, but I doubt you could fake Pushing Daisies' incredible production values on a tight budget.

Wonderfalls fans will be happy to know you're getting a bit of a crossover this week.

What a great episode! It was such a pleasure to see Marianne Marie Beetle from Wonderfalls again, but I was a little bummed that Bryan Fuller didn't complete the trifector-crossover (Pushing Daisies/Wonderfalls/Dead Like Me) by including Kiffany and Der Waffle Haus instead of the Waffle Natzi. But considering how things ended between him and Dead Like Me, maybe he doesn't look so fondly on the show anymore. Ether way, still a great episode... if only every show was half as special as Daisies.

Even though they've yet to touch back on it, didn't we see Ned's father in the Pie Hole? At least his silhouette? I know it was only implied rather than directly stated, but still.

It was implied, but that was before Dwight showed up, so I'd guess it was him since he started asking questions the very next episode.

Nope that's the creepy, the fact that dead Dad asked about any touching right off the bat made me wonder.

POOR OLIVE! And the show is cancelled before Papa Charles can confess the truth and make all her dreams come true.

Or maybe Papa Charles knows all about the touch-resurrection thing because he, Ned's dad and Dwight discovered a mummy's tomb with an ancient curse that gave all of them and their offspring the ability (curse) to resurrect the dead. That photo with the camel and the pyramids made me wonder.

So that might mean Chuck has the same power? Would be cute if Ned died and she had to touch him to bring him back, but of course at the expense of her own life.

Okay maybe I have an odd idea of what's 'cute.' ;)

I don't begrudge Ned for choosing Chuck over Olive but I agree, Kristin is one amazingly attractive woman. :D

As for the episode, another PD average, otherwise known on other TV shows as an Excellent!

^ Well it is hard to dismiss a childhood crush so easily, especially when you have spent years building the person up in your mind. (And that falls nicely into my idea that this show is really a tragedy masquerading as a comedy.)

Yes. She's rather proud of her cleavage, isn't she?

I would be to if I had tits like that. :rommie:

Pie heaven for me. Great episode. The Wonderfalls crossover went right over my head, but it was a fun episode all around. Loved Olive singing at the end, and the way Ned kept interrupting, and Olive's reactions, were brilliant. And I've noticed Kristin's stature in previous episodes, but it really stood out in this episode. Tiny little thing! Hot! :D

I didn't think of that, it would have been awesome. :D

There was a Dead Like Me reference, though, when Ned mentioned the Happy Time Temp Agency in a previous episode.
